While spots on district and state podiums might be hard to come by on the girls’ cross-country scene, there are some openings on the boys’ side following the graduation of the last Hess brother out of Lewisburg and some of the other top runners in the district.

Jonathan Hess capped his stellar career with a PIAA Class 2A title fall before heading off to Virginia Commonwealth. Also gone after graduation are Midd-West state medalist Ben Hummel and Shikellamy veteran Sam Hennett.
