WEST PLAINS, Mo. -- Coming this October, the Old-Time Music Ozark Heritage Festival in downtown West Plains will celebrate its 31st year.

The festival seeks to celebrate, preserve, pass on and nurture an appreciation of the old-time music and folk life traditions.

There will be plenty of activities, performances, workshops and demonstrations on musical and traditional arts. Plus, there will be a jig dance competition.

Admission to all festival events is free and will be on Oct. 17-18.
