MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Five former members of Mid-South law enforcement, including a former Memphis officer federally convicted on a charge related to the death of Tyre Nichols, could lose their ability to work in Tennessee law enforcement.

Former Memphis Police officers Tadarrius Bean, Arica Logan Hutchinson, Padraic O'Feely, former Shelby County Sheriff's Office deputy William McAnally, and former Dyer County Sheriff's Deputy Andrew Jordan are all scheduled to appear before the Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Commission on Thursday for an informal hearing. If members of the POST Commission vote in favor of moving forward with decertification for those former officers, they'll be scheduled to reappear on Friday for a formal hearing in which a vote will be taken to possibly decertif
