OXFORD, Miss. - A Collierville man accepted a plea agreement for his role in the 2022 hit-and-run death of an Ole Miss student.

Walker Fielder died in October 2022 after Seth Garron Rokitka crashed into him and a woman in the parking lot behind Oxford City Hall. Authorities arrested Seth Garron Rokitka of Collierville soon after in Shelby County.

Police claim Rokitka was drunk when he crashed into the two people. Fielder died at a hospital soon after the crash. On Monday, Rokitka pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of an accident causing death and to aggravated DUI.

A judge sentenced him to 10 years in prison for leaving the scene and five years for the aggravated DUI charge.
