SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WJW) -- A person broke into a home in Springfield Township early Wednesday morning and now police are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect.

Springfield Township police said the burglary took place in the 700 block of Eastview Drive between 4 a.m. and 5:30 a.m.

During that time, the owner of the home was asleep and did not wake up. They didn't realize a break-in had occurred until later that morning. It was not clear if anything was taken from the home or what kind of damage may have taken place.
