CHELAN COUNTY, Wash. - Several items were found during a two-day grid search operation conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) that may be connected to Travis Decker, the main suspect in the murder of his three daughters near Rock Island Campground.
The search began on August 25, and its mission was to locate Decker, any signs of his whereabouts and further evidence in the murder of his daughters.
"Search personnel recovered several items that are being examined to determine if they are related to this investigation," Special Agent in Charge of FBI Seattle W. Mike Herrington said in a press release.
The FBI said that over 100 personnel were deployed across multiple search teams for the full two-day operation. Over 1 million square meters, or 247 acres were searched and
