KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WOWK) - The Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia has announced a public service for the late Justice Tim Armstead.

According to a Supreme Court of Appeals spokesperson, the service will take place Tuesday, Sept. 2, at the House Chamber of the West Virginia State Capitol. Visitation will take place first from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., and the service will follow at 6 p.m.

Justice Armstead, 60, of Elkview, passed away on Tuesday after a brief hospitalization at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
