WEST VIRGINIA (WOWK) — Governor Patrick Morrisey is facing pushback from a health care resident over the sale of state-run health care facilities, specifically the sale of the John Manchin Sr. Health Care Center in Fairmont, and his office has now officially issued a statement on the matter.
Marion County State Sen. and attorney, Joey Garcia, said Tuesday that he sent a 30-day notice of intent to file a lawsuit in a letter on behalf of his client—who is a current resident at the John Manchin Sr. facility—against Health Facilities Secretary Michael Caruso and Gov. Morrisey.
