BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- The Town of Niagara announced on Thursday its new town logo created by boards members, town employees and Niagara Falls' E-Man Inc.

The logo shows farmland in the background, which officials said is how the town looked when it started out. The Flag of 1812 -- the year the town was established -- Schoolhouse No. 2 , a cannon and a plane are layered over the farmland.

The schoolhouse, located at Tuscarora and Lockport Roads, is where the town's historical society is located.

"The Cannon represents 'Military Road,' our predominant business district, and the plane is a KC135, which both the 914th and 107th units have flown from the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station, which the Town is blessed to have located right here in Town of Niagara," officials said in a news rel
