FRIDAY’S GAMES

Long Beach Poly (0-1) at Lincoln of San Diego (1-0), 7 p.m.: The Jackrabbits will be looking for their first win of the season on the road against San Diego section powerhouse Lincoln High. Poly suffered a 14-3 loss against Leuzinger at Veterans Stadium last week. The Jackrabbits were led by senior quarterback Deuce Jefferson (Weber State commit) who completed 14 of 28 attempts for 169 yards and one interception. Jefferson also ran for a team-high 28 yards on three carries and did a good job of spreading the ball around to six different receivers. Poly’s defense held up for the most part against Leuzinger.
