(KRON) — One man is in the hospital recovering from multiple gunshot wounds and another man is in jail for attempted murder following a shooting on the 4800 block of Trenton Street in Oakley Tuesday morning, according to the Oakley Police Department.
Officers responded to the shooting around 3:13 a.m. and found the victim suffering from his injuries outside an Oakley home. The man was taken to a local trauma center where he is undergoing life-saving treatment, according to police.
“Alert residents in the area heard the shooting and stated they saw the suspected shooter fleeing in a dark colored Ford F-150,” Oakley PD said.

As officers treated the victim, a Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office Deputy spotted a Ford F-150 matching witnesses’ description
