PORTALES, N.M. (KAMR/KCIT) - A Clovis woman was arrested Tuesday after allegedly bringing, and then losing, a fanny pack containing a gun to a volleyball tournament at Portales Junior High School, according to court documents.

Roosevelt County court documents filed Tuesday said 32-year-old Sarah Vilandry was arrested on one count of alleged unlawful carrying of a deadly weapon on school premises, after an incident on Aug. 22 at Portales Junior High School.

According to court documents, Vilandry called the police on Aug. 22 and reported her fanny pack, which contained a gun alongside other items, had either been lost or stolen from her while she was in the bleachers at a volleyball tournament.
