MINNEAPOLIS — A dozen of those injured in a mass shooting Wednesday in Minneapolis remain hospitalized, with at least one child in critical condition, according to updates from Hennepin County Medical Center and the Children’s Minnesota Minneapolis hospital on Thursday, Aug. 28.

Two children were killed and 18 others were injured Wednesday morning in a mass shooting at Annunciation Church in south Minneapolis. The City of Minneapolis identified an additional child victim on Thursday morning, raising the total injured from 17 to 18.

Hennepin County Medical Center took in 10 of those injured in the shooting, and Children’s Minneapolis took in seven.
