HANNIBAL, Mo. — The Hannibal Police Department has made an arrest in connection with a series of property damage incidents in downtown Hannibal.
Officers responded at 6:01 a.m. Wednesday to a report of property damage at the Marion County Courthouse. While canvassing the area, officers identified and documented eight additional incidents of property damage along the Broadway corridor.
A male suspect arrested at approximately 7:27 a.m. was taken to the Marion County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold pending further investigation.
Residents and business owners in the downtown and Broadway area east of Grand Avenue are encouraged to inspect their properties and report any damage to HPD.
