FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A 23-year-old man was detained after a man was stabbed in Visalia Thursday morning, according to the Visalia Police Department.

Police say around 8:19 a.m., officers responded to an assault report in the 2100 block of South Garden Street.

The suspect was located at the scene.

Both the victim and the suspect were taken to Kaweah Health for medical treatment.
