STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Salad kits sold nationwide, including at retailers in New York, are under recall due to undeclared sesame and soy allergens that could pose serious health risks to consumers with allergies, the Food and Drug Administration announced.

Taylor Fresh Foods is voluntarily recalling its Taylor Farms Honey Balsamic Salad Kits in six and 8.3oz following a recall initiated by Latitude 36 Foods LLC.

The issue stems from incorrectly packaged dressing packets of Asian Sesame Ginger dressing that was mistakenly included instead of the intended Honey Balsamic Vinaigrette, resulting in undeclared sesame and soy allergens, according to the FDA.

The affected salad kits were distributed in 27 states, including New York, and have code dates starting with “TFRS” and “Best If Used By”
