Popular salad kits sold at stores nationwide, including New York state, has been recalled for undeclared allergens that could present a severe allergy risk.

In response to a recall initiated by Latitude 36 Foods, Taylor Fresh Foods is recalling its Taylor Farms Honey Balsamic Salad Kit 6/8.3-ounce because it may contain undeclared sesame and soy allergens, according to a recall notice posted by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to sesame and soy run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

Individual packets of dressing in the salad kits incorrectly included Asian Sesame Ginger dressing, rather than Honey Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing. This could lead to the possibility of undeclared
