(FOX40.COM) — An ex-boyfriend and his accomplice were arrested Wednesday afternoon after breaking into the ex-girlfriend's house and kidnapping her, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office.

SCSO said deputies responded to reports of a burglary in progress just after 4 p.m. on the 600 block of Howe Avenue.

A woman called and said someone broke her window and was attempting to get in. Meanwhile, another caller said a woman was being dragged into a black sedan by a man, the sheriff's office said.

Deputies arrived to witness the suspect vehicle driving on Howe Avenue. There was a male driver, along with a woman and a sweaty, out-of-breath man in the back seat, the sheriff's office said.
