Police haveswooped on an Edinburgh city centre street.
The incident took place around 7.20pm on Thursday, August 28 on Leith Street beside the St James Quarter.
Images from the scene appear to show a police car halted in the middle of the road and several officers on the pavement.
A bystander reported seeing a police vehicle "speeding up" Leith Street before beginning to "chase" a group of teens.
A bystander said: "All of a sudden a police car came speeding up Leith Street and stopped in the middle of the busy road.
"Four policemen ran out and began to chase some teens on foot. There seemed to be British transport police officers and regular police at the scene."
Police Scotland has been approached for comment.
