MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A tractor-trailer's driver and their passenger did not survive after crashing along Interstate 40 late Tuesday night.

A woman driving alongside the 18-wheeler before the collision says the fatal crash should not have happened.

She told WREG that two racing drivers are at fault and she is hopeful they will be caught in order to face justice.

"We both were screaming, because it looked like something out of a movie," said Kee-Kee Fason, the woman who witnessed the crash.

Fason said she was one of a handful of drivers traveling westbound along I-40 near North Watkins that night.

According to Memphis Police, preliminary information indicates the tractor-trailer lost control.

But Fason believes this is not an open and shut case, as there's much more to it.
