A 65-year-old man from Cornwall is facing two charges after police investigated a complaint.

Police alleged the man threw objects at someone he knows, and that person’s vehicle, on Aug. 22. The vehicle was damaged. The man was located and taken into police custody on Wednesday.

The man was charged with assault with a weapon, and mischief – destroys or damages property.

He was released from police custody to appear in Cornwall court on Sept. 30.

A 23-year-old man from Cornwall is facing two charges after police responded to a Ninth Street East business on Wednesday.

Police alleged the man removed merchandise from the store without paying for it, then assaulted the business’ loss-prevention officer.
