The Kansas City, Missouri, Fire Department responded to a partial roof collapse Thursday afternoon near Independence and Brighton avenues.
Around 12:30 p.m., fire crews were called to a structure in the 4800 block of Independence Avenue.
A fire department spokesperson said the partial collapse of a bowstring truss roof pushed out a side wall and part of the front wall, causing those areas to lean.
No injuries were reported.
Due to the "compromised" walls of the structure, which is used for storage and "wholesale business of some sort," KCFD set up a collapse zone.
Dangerous Buildings and City Planning personnel are on the scene investigating.
KCFD said the building owner and renter are also on the scene and are cooperating with investigators.
