MARION COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) -- A ninth murder arrest has been made in connection with a failed Marion County drug deal that killed two teenagers and injured two others in late May, the sheriff’s office said Thursday.
Ja'Keem Godbolt, 20, of Marion, was arrested and charged with two counts of murder, eight counts of attempted murder, two counts of criminal conspiracy, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, attempted armed robbery, and discharging a weapon into a vehicle.
Wyatt Thomas Ashley, 18, of Myrtle Beach; Jordan Isaac Beaty, 20, of Conway; Tay’Shawn Dajour Bethea, 22, of Marion; and Nathin Lee Lancour, 21, of Loris, were the first four arrested in connection with the killings at 1708 Tubello Court.
