As many as 1,200 Indigenous people are to receive primary health care as Ontario provides $1.2 million to opening a health team office in Bancroft and enhancing services in Tyendinaga and Kingston.
The Tsi Kanonhkhwatsheriyo Indigenous Interprofessional Primary Care Team’s expansion is intended to serve Indigenous people in southeastern Ontario through the three locations.
