LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Construction is underway on the Community Mental Health Authority of Clinton, Eaton, and Ingham Counties’ (CMHA-CEI) Crisis Care Center.
The new facility, designed to serve adults, youth, and families facing behavioral health emergencies, is on track to open in 2026.
The renovation and construction project at 2900 Stabler St. is funded by grants secured from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
The center will consolidate CMHA-CEI’s existing Crisis Services and several related programs, currently spread across multiple community locations, into a single, centralized hub for care.
The facility will also feature a Crisis Stabilization Unit for adults and a separate unit for children
