BUXTON, Maine — In June, a Buxton family's wheelchair-accessible van went up in flames, leaving them urgently needing transportation for their four disabled children, including two girls who use wheelchairs.
Thanks to generous donations through a GoFundMe account, the community has raised enough to help buy a new van. However, converting it for wheelchair access will still cost another twenty thousand dollars.
