BUXTON, Maine — In June, a Buxton family's wheelchair-accessible van went up in flames, leaving them urgently needing transportation for their four disabled children, including two girls who use wheelchairs.

Thanks to generous donations through a GoFundMe account, the community has raised enough to help buy a new van. However, converting it for wheelchair access will still cost another twenty thousand dollars.

When we last spoke with Jessica Creedon, she and her family faced an uphill battle to replace their wheelchair-accessible van.

"We never thought we would be in the position we are now and have this van in our driveway," Jessica said.
