WESTBROOK, Maine — A Texas woman has pleaded guilty to bank fraud and identity theft in connection with an incident in Westbrook, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Maine.

On Thursday, 51-year-old Andrea Cochran pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Portland.

Cochran reportedly used a falsified passport card in June 2024 to withdraw money from a victim's accounts at a credit union in Westbrook. The card carried her photo, but the personal information of the account holder, the U.S. Attorney's Office said.

Court records said she also used the victim's Social Security number and forged the victim's signature on withdrawal slips.
