In July, Leduc RCMP began a drug trafficking investigation. As a result of the investigation, a search warrant was executed at a residence within the City of Leduc.
The search resulted in the seizure of amounts of cocaine, methamphetamine, psilocybin (commonly known as “magic mushrooms” or simply “shrooms”), a quantity of Canadian currency, digital scales and other drug packaging materials and equipment used to produce a controlled substance.
39-year-old Leduc resident Kevin Vansickle has been arrested and charged with trafficking a controlled substance, possession for the purpose of trafficking a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, driving while unauthorized and two counts of failure to comply with a release order condition.
