SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – The Shreveport Police Department (SPD) is still searching for Dewayne Kirkendoll Jr., wanted for sexual battery of a minor.

Dewayne Kirkendoll Jr., born Nov. 12, 1993, is wanted on one count of Sexual Battery involving a victim under the age of 13.

During the course of this investigation, the juvenile victim participated in a forensic interview at the Gingerbread House Children's Advocacy Center.

During that interview, the victim shared details of a sexual assault and identified Mr. Kirkendoll as the perpetrator.

As a result, on July 9, 2025, detectives with the Shreveport Police Department obtained an arrest warrant for Dewayne Kirkendoll Jr.
