TOWN OF GREENFIELD, Wis. -- The Sauk County Sheriff's Office has identified the 31-year-old Portage man who died Monday evening during a four-vehicle crash on WIS 33.

The Sauk County Communications Center received multiple 911 calls about the crash near the Man Mound Road intersection shortly after 6:30 p.m. Monday.

Joseph T. Ott was driving a sedan traveling eastbound and crossed the centerline. A westbound vehicle swerved to avoid Ott's vehicle and collided with a third westbound vehicle. Ott reportedly continued driving before he crashed into anther westbound vehicle head-on, according to the sheriff's office.

Ott was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the vehicle hit head-on was flown by UW Med-Flight. Three other people were transported to nearby hospitals. Their con
