UPSHUR COUNTY, Texas — The Upshur County Sheriff's Office is searching for a man it considers to be armed and dangerous.

Lucas Stevens is wanted for burglary and ATV theft, and he was last seen in blue jeans and a black shirt.

According to the sheriff's office, Stevens has broken into multiple homes and stolen both firearms and vehicles throughout the day.

Residents living in the Scrub Pine Rd. and Weeping Willow Rd. area should be on alert. The sheriff's office recommends locking doors and property. Law enforcement says not to approach Stevens if you see him.

Anyone with information on Stevens is asked to call 9-1-1 or the Upshur County Sheriff's Office.
