MANCHESTER, N.H. —

An elementary school principal in New London is off the job following an internal investigation into allegations she had a staff member doing non-work-related tasks, sometimes during school hours.

The Kearsarge Regional Elementary School-New London principal resigned just weeks before the start of the new school year.

News 9 has reviewed more than 30 documents that detail the allegations against former Principal Kelly Collins and the district's internal disciplinary investigation.

The investigation is not criminal. Collins was accused of having a staff member do her laundry at the school and, on at least one occasion, pick up the laundry at her home and clean her home, at times during school hours.
