Oscar nominee Anna Kendrick and The Studio star Seth Rogen are in negotiations to star in comedy Babies , which will be directed by Lauren Miller Rogen ( Like Father ) from her original screenplay.

The synopsis reads: Struggling with the decision of whether or not to bring a child into the world, Annie (Kendrick) and her husband Aaron (Rogen) become instant co-parents when their newly-divorced friend moves into their home with her 3-year-old.

The pic is set to begin production in November in Los Angeles. AGC and CAA Media Finance will co-rep worldwide rights.

AGC Studios and Monarch Media are set to co-finance and produce the Los Angeles-set contemporary comedy drama with producer Lylas Pictures.
