MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — USA Health is offering new breast implants for mastectomy patients who want breast reconstructions.

According to a USA Health news release, 800 cc was the largest size implant that was available, but now, the company is using MENTOR MemoryGel Enhance Breast implants, which offer larger sizes.

The new implants come in sizes between 930 and 1445 cc, addressing the needs of around 15% of mastectomy patients, according to the release.

"Depending upon the case, some mastectomy patients may receive implants in the same surgery that treats their breast cancer, while others return to surgery months later for a two-stage reconstruction involving tissue expansion and implant insertion," read the release.
