These streets in Old Louisville to be closed through 2027 as part of big I

LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

The big Interstate 65 Central Corridor Project will have a major impact on the interstate next year, but some streets will be impacted soon, and for a much longer time.

Several roads in Old Louisville will be closed starting next week all way through the end of the project.

The $150 million overpass project was announced on Wednesday.

The streets in Old Louisville that will be affected include Hill Street, South Brook Street, Kentucky Street, and Burnett Avenue.

Parts of these streets will be closed starting Sept. 3 until spring 2027, which is when the project is slated to wrap up.
