PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Bruins and Special Olympics Rhode Island will team up to bring floor ball to Special Olympics athletes.
The organization said the sport is a “fast-paced and inclusive” sport similar to hockey.
It will be the 29th sport available to Special Olympics athletes, and players and staff from the P-Bruins will help fund and coach the sport.
The program begins on Sept. 4 with a six-week skills clinic at the CLCF Complex in Cranston.
