BIG COUNTRY, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - As we head into the 2025 Labor Day weekend, cooler and wetter conditions will be the main story, which could impact outdoor plans, especially Saturday and Sunday.

Rain chances begin to creep in Thursday evening and Friday with about a 20% chance of showers and storms each day. The more widespread rain arrives Saturday and lingers through Sunday, with flooding concerns being the main concern. • Saturday: Rain chances rise to 50%, with multiple rounds of storms possible. The greatest coverage looks to come late Saturday evening into Sunday morning. • Sunday: Rain chances increase to 60%, and flooding becomes the biggest concern.

At this point, the Storm Prediction Center keeps us under a general thunderstorm risk, meaning severe weather is not expected.
