Construction on Edison Elementary has reached some delays after it was originally planned to be open in time for the school year.
According to Assistant Superintendent Neal Brokman, 90% of the building is enclosed, but issues with climate control and power have trickled down to delay finishing touches on the interior.
Brokman said they have been on point with their budget for the 33 million dollar building, but delays are going to push back construction until mid to late february.
Students are planned to move into the building in early April, and Brokman said he's confident they will reach that deadline.
