(WJET/WFXP)-- A Pennsylvania man was seriously injured Sunday night after a rollover crash threw him from his SUV along Interstate 79.

According to Pennsylvania State Police in Meadville, calls went out for that crash near mile marker 157.7 of Interstate 79 in Cussewago Township, Crawford County, around 10:37 Sunday night.

The driver of a Jeep Wrangler went off the left side of the road and hit an embankment and kept going until it struck a culvert, causing it to flip and eject the driver through the SUV's roof.

After the driver was ejected, police said the SUV kept rolling before coming to a rest on its passenger side about 283 feet from where it went off the road.
