WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) -- After winning back-to-back Division III state championships, the Warren JFK golf team is mounting an effort toward another.
"It is an individual sport; however, we are a team. We haven't in years past had any individual qualifies for state. We go as a team," Kennedy head coach James LaPolla said. "So I get to not only watch them play as individuals, but I get to watch them play as a team. And that's one thing that I love about this squad."
Recently, the Eagles won a fifth title this season by defeating 24 Division I and Division II schools during the Lake Blue Streak Invitational held at Congress Lake Club.
"It's something we've been working toward for together for years now, so it's hard to say that it's something we haven't kept in mind," said senior Julian Boli
