Rochester, N.Y. (WROC) — The country of Turkey divides the East and the West and its diverse cuisine reflects its geographic position.

Proof will be presented this weekend at 677 Beahan Road where the Turkish Society of Rochester will its annual Turkish Food Festival.

There, you can taste the food, test Turkish drinks, listen to Turkish music, and enjoy Turkish hospitality, which as been passed down and cultivated by Rochester’s Turkish community, which has grown since the 60s, after companies like Hickey Freeman traveled to Turkey to hire tailors.
