BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Beckley man has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery at Opportunity Knocks early Thursday morning, according to the Beckley Police Department.

At about 3:30 a.m. on Aug. 28, officers responded to a report of a robbery in progress at the business located at 423 Ragland Road.

Police said a white male suspect entered the store, displayed a firearm, and demanded money from an employee before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Detectives canvassed the surrounding area and obtained surveillance video that showed a suspect vehicle with distinctive features.

Following its direction of travel, detectives continued their search into the Lanark area of Raleigh County.
