EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - The Evansville Police Department is investigating a death after a medical run yesterday.

Officials say around 5:00 p.m. Wednesday they got a call for a medical emergency in the 3300 block of E Gum Avenue.

They say a female victim was found “beyond life-saving efforts” and died at the scene.

Authorities say the identity of the victim will be released by the Vanderburgh County Coroner’s Office.

Information on the investigation has been limited due to the early stages of the investigation.
