Micah Parsons is stunningly no longer a member of the Dallas Cowboys.
On Thursday, the Cowboys traded Parsons to the Green Bay Packers for an extremely light package featuring two first-round picks. A Parsons trade was rumored for a little while now, but no one truly thought Jerry Jones would send away a generational talent like this.
Instead, that's exactly what happened, as the relationship between Parsons and Jones deteriorated enough for the team to move on just days ahead of the beginning of the 2025 NFL season.
While Parsons hasn't been shy in expressing his discontentment with the Cowboys organization — culminating in an iPhone notes trade request sent out to social media on August 1 — the All-Pro linebacker posted a heartwarming video and message mere minutes after the news broke. The video is a send off for his time in Dallas and the message is a lengthy one that contains no bitterness, only sadness that this day has arrived.
