Micah Parsons might have grown up in Pennsylvania, but he wasn’t a fan of the Eagles or Steelers as a kid. Instead, Parsons cheered for the Cowboys during his childhood.

Parsons pointed that fact out after being traded from Dallas to Green Bay on Thursday.

Parsons released a lengthy statement after the trade, sharing his thoughts on being traded from the Cowboys after four seasons.

“Cowboy Nation, growing up in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, I was one of the few kids in my neighborhood who cheered for the Dallas Cowboys.
