TWIN FALLS, Idaho — Centennial Waterfront Park in Twin Falls will be temporarily closed for a construction project starting on Sept. 2, and access to the park will be restricted until Sept. 10, according to city officials.
The Parks and Waterways Office stated the project involves paving, and the city said it intends to improve “boating access and parking” in the park. Centennial Waterfront Park is a popular destination for families and tourists, who use it to access the Snake River or hike in the surrounding area.
Temporary access to the park will be reinstated from Sept. 11 to Sept. 14. Parking will be limited during that weekend due to construction materials and machinery in the area.
