WATSONVILLE — A Watsonville man wanted for felony charges was recently arrested in Southern California while in possession of multiple firearms, according to a release from the California Highway Patrol.

The statewide agency’s Coastal Division Investigative Services Unit was tipped off Aug. 21 that 19-year-old Diego Tostado Galvan was traveling through its jurisdictional territory along Highway 101 and was believed to be armed.

With help from Santa Cruz County Anti-Crime Team, Santa Cruz Auto Theft Reduction and Enforcement Team and the Coastal Division K-9 Unit, Galvan and an associate, 19-year-old Jeremiah Samuel Caldwell, were located at about 1:30 p.m. at a bus station in Santa Barbara.
