MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Two customers of Holly Springs Utility Department continue to face what they call poor service and are anxious for a public hearing by the Mississippi Public Service Commission on September 4.

"Chronic mismanagement" and other factors, including a lawsuit filed by TVA for breach of contract, are issues that trickle down to frustrated customers.

"It is what it is, we do the best we can," said Lewis Elliott, a frustrated HSUD customer.

Lewis Elliott and his wife Sue have gone round and round with HSUD for four months and hope the public hearing on September 4 will start the ball rolling toward positive change.
