Firefighters are responding to a brush fire that broke out Thursday afternoon in Templeton.

The fire broke out at around 2 p.m. near the intersection of Vineyard Drive and Hidden Valley Road, near Vineyard Elementary School.

Vineyard Drive is closed in the area.
