(NewsNation) — Former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick and girlfriend Jordon Hudson have filed to trademark the term “Gold Digger.”

According to Clict, Belichick’s TCE Rights Management LLC, which is run by Hudson, filed the trademark to use the term on jewelry and keychains.

A "gold digger" is defined as someone who enters a relationship with someone for the sole purpose of getting money from them. The term has been used to describe the 24-year-old cheerleader, who went public with their relationship in June 2024.

The pair reportedly met on a flight in 2021, The New York Times reports.
